Large First Exploration Ring in Slate Blue
The inspiration behind this pendant is based on the Golden Record aboard the Voyager 1 space probe launched by NASA in 1977. The record contains sounds and images selected to portray the diversity of life and culture on Earth, as well as peace greetings to the Universe in 55 different languages and whale song, intended one day to be found by intelligent extra-terrestrial life.
The ring is handmade in Sterling silver using techniques such as sawing, filing, forming and soldering and filled with resin mixed to a slate blue colour, then sanded and polished to a glossy finish.
The ring is a UK size O. The top measures approximately 30mm in diameter and is hallmarked on the back by the Edinburgh Assay Office with the International Convention Marks.
The ring will be shipped in a grey gift box and carefully packaged to ensure that it is not damaged in transit.
Ready to ship in 1-3 business days.
